Troop 2442 loves to camp.  We try to camp every month.  It's a great way to get away from all the electronics and enjoy nature and a good game of football and fellowship. 

  

 

Camping is an extremely important part of the scouting program.  It gives the scouts a chance to become independent and self-reliant.  They learn how to cook, set up a tent, keep a schedule, and work on leadership abilities among other skills necessary to become a responsible, conservation-minded member of society.
