The program includes meeting generally once each week during the school year in groups of generally less than six boys ("Dens") to complete age-appropriate rank requirements, and once monthly for a unit ("Pack") meeting consisting of awards, announcements, and activities.
Other activities include Pack outings such as campouts, sports events, overnights, and day trips. Recently, our non-program activities have included attending Providence Bruins games and Monster Jam, launching model rockets, marching in local parades, and loads of other fun activities.
At this level, parental involvement is critical to the success of the Pack. All pack leaders are volunteers and donate their time to make the program the best it can be for all the boys in the pack. Should your son decide to join Pack 65, we highly recommend that the parent or guardian become involved in the Pack Committee to help plan, decide, and execute the annual program for the boys.
Pack 65 generally meets on Tuesday nights at the J. W. Martin Elementary School on Landry Avenue near Kelly Boulevard (Route 152).
